Cruz Bay is absolutely beautiful and iconic, as well as one of the most walkable spots in the Caribbean. Sun-Kissed in Cruz Bay puts you right in the middle of it all — restaurants, beaches, hiking trails, ferry docks, watersports, and local shops are all within a short stroll. Here's where we love to send our guests.
Stocked with everything you need for cooking in, grabbing snacks, or picking up drinks. Conveniently right next door to the condo.
Your go-to for a fresh, energizing (and delicious) start to the morning before you head out to the beach or trails.
A classic St. John dinner destination with a lively open-air atmosphere and a menu full of Caribbean-inspired dishes. Great for a night out.
There is nowhere else on the USVI that supports live music like The Beach Bar. Their menu is fresh, casual, and some of the best food on St. John.
A Cruz Bay staple. Casual, local, and always worth it. Expect smoky, satisfying BBQ in a no-frills setting that's exactly what island food should feel like.
Taxis are easy to grab right in Cruz Bay and can take you to all of the north shore beaches. Wharfside Watersports and Cruz Bay Water Sports (both 5 min away) can set you up with snorkel tours, kayaks, and day trips on the water.
The Cruz Bay Ferry Dock (5 min walk) connects to Red Hook on St. Thomas, and Inter Island Boat Services (2 min walk) connects to Charlotte Amalie — the ferry that gets you closest to the airport, available during high season months.
Cruz Bay is one of the most beautiful and iconic spots in the Caribbean — and the beach is just a 5-minute walk from your door. But St. John's coastline stretches far beyond Cruz Bay, and getting there is half the fun.
Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay are consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world, and for good reason. Crystal clear turquoise water, powdery white sand, and some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean — right off the shore.
The water stays warm year round, so whether you're visiting in January or July, you're getting in.
Don't miss Maho Bay either — a laid-back, shallow bay that's famous for sea turtle sightings and has a fun little bar and shopping area right on the beach. It's the kind of place you show up to for an hour and stay for the afternoon.

60% National Park. 100% Worth It.
St. John is two-thirds national park, and some of the best trailheads are practically at your doorstep.
Lind Point Trail begins just minutes from the condo and rewards you with sweeping views of Cruz Bay and the surrounding cays.
Caneel Hill Trail is another local favorite for a morning hike before the heat of the day sets in.
Stop by the Virgin Island National Forest Visitors Center (5-min walk) to grab a trail map.
Wharfside Village has it all — and it's just a 5-minute walk from your door.
Right next to the Cruz Bay ferry landing, this collection of boutiques ranges from fun souvenir shops to sparkly jewelry stores US Virgin Islands, with spots like St. John Spice, Pink Papaya, Turquoise Turtle, and Bamboo Studio all worth a browse.
When you're ready for a drink, The Beach Bar offers a prime beachfront experience with tropical cocktails, tasty bites, live music, and stunning sunsets right on the water — it feels less like a bar stop and more like the highlight of your day. High Tide sits just steps from the ferry dock with open-air dining, Caribbean sunset views, and the sound of gentle waves to set the mood.
Whether you're shopping for gifts, grabbing lunch, or just wandering with a Painkiller in hand, Wharfside is the kind of place you end up at every single day of your trip.
With nearly 30 shops, restaurants, bars, and services all under one roof, Mongoose Junction is a full afternoon in itself — and it's just a 2-minute walk from your front door.
Tucked into a stunning open-air stone courtyard, it's the kind of place you wander into for an hour and come out with a full bag and a reservation for dinner.
Shop locally owned boutiques like Big Planet, Bamboula, Lulee, and Vibe Jewelry, where you'll find carefully curated clothing, art, and jewelry that's a serious step above the typical souvenir.
Browse Bajo El Sol, a one-of-a-kind hybrid gallery, bookstore, and rum bar where local artists show their work alongside a seriously good cocktail menu.
When you're ready to eat, the options are just as good. Pack a picnic from the North Shore Deli before heading up to the beaches, grab a scoop at St. John Scoops, sip a local brew at the Tap Room, or pull up a chair at Greengo's for tacos and margaritas.
The locals' favorite. Formerly known as 420 to Center, this low-key neighborhood bar is the kind of place you stumble into for one drink and stay for three.
Unpretentious, fun, and authentically Cruz Bay.
Exactly what it sounds like, and exactly what you need. Right on the water with live music, strong drinks, and a crowd that knows how to have a good time.
One of the most iconic spots on St. John for a reason.
A Cruz Bay institution. Woody's is one of those places every St. John visitor ends up at least once — and most end up back again. Cold drinks, fresh seafood, and a laid-back open-air vibe that perfectly captures the spirit of the island after dark.

"My stay was amazing! The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. We cooked a couple times and had everything we needed. Mostly we enjoyed going out because everything is literally a couple minutes walk and no big hills to deal with. We felt safe on the island and it was easy to catch a cab to the beaches. Already planning our next trip and look forward to staying with you again."
